Obvious Reasons for the necessity of World Peace

WORLD YOGA DAY - WYD -

The 1st World Holiday - A day of Life celebration – today it is an urgent need: World Peace – for the survival of the Human Species and of the Globe. Proposed on a Supra Human Date - a Cosmic Auspice - A Day celebrated by all Nations and Peoples, where they stop and make peace, and enhance and honor what they have in common – something Great and that was given to them - the Life , and nullify the differences that must be viewed in light of Cosmic Reality - which is a Stimulating Diversity, not a deadly bottlenecks and pettiness that has to be outdated for belonging to a dark past, and full of mold – we shall pass into the realm of Grandeur and Light - the Age of Aquarius / Satya Yuga, that no one can stop, and from which Yoga has long been Herald. It is proposed by the Portuguese, with high self esteem, those who in the past showed Globality to the Peoples on Earth, and who now heads the Commission of the European Union, among many other great things.

The Yoga Lusa Association / Sámkhya Yoga Institute, the Yoga Portuguese Confederation , and FLY -Yoga Lusa Federation, are practical Philosophical and Cultural Institutions, nonprofit, and therefore have to put into practice their ideals, and donate most of their surpluses to International and National institutions in the area of social solidarity and other related institutions, such as FAO – UN Organization Against Hunger in the World, three of the UN Millennium Programs to minimize human difficulties present and future, UNHCR - protection for refugees, Institute of Child Support, etc.. (see Department of Social Solidarity ALYO).
Amongst the basic principles of Yoga we highlight the great Ahimsá - not killing, not harm, cultivate inner Peace , personal, inter-relational and Worldwide Peace. This Principle pervades all Yoga, it is the basis not only of Personal Development, but rather of respect for Life, because, from the 1st moment that the Yogí sets foot in a real Áshrama - where only Yoga is practiced - it is made clear to him that Life is a good which one doesn't know how to give or create , and that Principle is far superior to any other, and therefore the most important thing you can do is join the large world group of light, preserving and nurturing L ife. This is the most Sacred and fundamental basis of Yoga.
People and human beings are hungry for Peace and do not understand the mad and repeated attacks against everything and everyone (and to themselves) - to Nature, to Ecosystems and to people's lives in a constant war and bloodshed evident in the last millenniums . Everybody wants to live in Peace and Harmony , so why Humanity was not able to achieve that? With the arrival of the 3rd Millennium, and the announced end of the Kalí Yuga – time of Darkness and War, and the entrance on Satya Yuga , the Age of Light and Insight, called in the "West" the Age of Aquarius , we all have the obligation in accordance with the principles (not only) of Yoga, but also of the most basic aspirations of Human Beings, Families and Nations - of actively seeking to establish that Peace - now, Immediately. Everyone wants and must share the Light and the Cosmic Love.
Portugal is the country of Fátima , and in 1917 the appearance of the "Bright Lady" at Fátima and the revelations made to the 3 shepherd children, from which Lucia survived, points out: "The Human Being must continuously use the Málá – Focus himself (Dháraná), Pray and Meditate / Dhyána - and immediately stop bloodshed . " These 6 appearances, May 13 th to October 13 th were preceded 2 years before - in 1915 and 1916 by the appearance of an Angel / Deva (in Loca do Anjo), who announced the Bright Lady and her revelations. This Being said his name was Shánti Deva - the Angel of World Peace , and that he also was the Angel of Portugal , because Portugal - Country of Lusos , would play an important role in the construction of World Peace. It happened in Portugal - These are our most intense and deep cultural foundations, they have the Authenticity of the Subtle Power, we are strongly proud about them, but also about the coalition that more than 500 years (1498) ago Portugal has established with India , since for the first time we showed a sea route between Europe and this Country of Wealth and Wisdom, from which comes the Light, and the Yoga and the Sámkhya. It is a direct link, and the oldest. It doesn't go through any other Country which made of Portugal (and the Yoga Institutions that make this article) one of the major world powers of Authentic Traditional Yoga.
At least for these reasons, but also as the "Poet Priest" says: because "we see, hear and read, we can not ignore - and because It has Never been done - so we urge All to listen to the best within themselves , release from the worse, know how to magnanimously forgive, flee from pettiness, have the Real Courage to STOP RETALIATING , constant aggression has no future, it is the son of insanity, leading to chaos, emptiness and to nothing, join hands instead and build Vibrant Peace near you, so then you will have active voice to demand from stronger Nations that they handle Nations and Peoples - apparently less armed and "smaller" - with dignity and respect , the only way to build a Solid Peace and truly lasting, without winners or losers – because we all are One only People.
We are Portuguese, the Portuguese borders are not Portugal, is the planet, and the borders of those who see the Light, are the Galaxy and the Cosmos . For the first time, we showed the Geographic Globality to everyone, we have a great self esteem, not everything that is good has to come from overseas! – it can also be Born in Portugal (which is the question?); and we practice Yoga; and the Culture and History of the whole Humanity also belong to us. Therefore, we had to put forward to the World something that was never done and it is most needed, the 1 st Worldwide Holiday , inter Ethnic and inter Religious and inter cultural. A day beyond the reputable National and Regional, Continental and Cultural holidays, when we would celebrate the Importance of Life , Peace and Diversity , where Humanity would remember that is One only – on a sole and small Wealthy Planet, and would join hands and say – all wars are fratricidal because we start from the same DNA , and in fact we truly are brothers, and all wars are a waste of time because everyone will have to make peace one day - that is Wisdom.
The date chosen was not a human or cultural day (even considering there are many honorable humans) – rather it is a Over Cultural and Over Continental date, related to All, with the Light, the Sun and the Universe - a Cosmic Auspice, Solstice - June 21st - after all always sung at all times as one of the most important days of the year (and somewhat forgotten today). So that our descendants can continue to have a beautiful Blue and Green Planet, full of Life, Biodiversity, including the Human Life, and not a (another) devastating and deadly asteroid belt, now between Venus and Mars! Also showing that our DNA – Human – is feasible.
These reasons are more than enough to create the 1st Worldwide Holiday - and the Yoga Worldwide Day, DAYMUNDY – it will inevitably be a reality in the Future . Let us not be human beings of past anchors.
The principles of Yoga are: Demand from yourself, not from others, do not judge others, judge yourself; live only with best of yourself (not with the worst) - see the best in others (not the worst), the Cosmic Model gives successive opportunities for each to find his own way - does not exclude anyone - this is also the Model of Yoga.
Those who really practice Yoga (and not just say they do), have nothing to fear , because they know the power of True Meditation - Dhyána / Samádhi, of the Pránáyáma, of the Mantra / Kírtana / Jápa, of Mánasika (Positive Mentoring), of the Ásana, the Yantra, of the Mudrá, Pujá, etc.. In our Meditations – we live the Future now - and therefore we create the reality of the Future - already in the Present.
The Bright Lady - Mahá Shakti , and My Master Adi Guru / Mahá Sat Guru Lord Shiva say out loud to the World these purposes (based on Yoga and many other philosophies and religions), and to those who listen – we all have to make it happen, we must have an active role in the much desired World Peace - There is nothing more needed – it will be the embryo of a Fair New Globality, of the end of hunger and thirst on the Planet, the end of areas with no education for children, of the deadly selfishness, the end of egocentrics, etc..
We also have the Strength of Fátima – it was here the venue chosen between the Macro Continent of Euro Asia – Africa, and the Macro American Continent, on the edge of the Atlantic (and the former Atlantis). We are also aware and proud of it.
But we highlight that this Day is really celebrated since 2001 – actually it exists (it is not one more Day made official and therefore you have to celebrate, and almost nobody does). It will be the most Important Day of Humanity. Now we need to generalize it further - and make it official.
"We see, hear and read" - and feel, and we are Alive - we could only do so. We are not faked institutions, just to fill the social space, we are not fulfilling positions so that others do not hold them.
As in Yoga and Sámkhya, our motto is: deeply non theoretical .
